Va'ruun Scripture Locations - Starfield Guide - IGN (2024)

The Va'ruun Scripture books are part of the skill books and magazines you can encounter in the world of Starfield. As with any other set of skill books, upon collecting them, the manuals will grant your character with a permanent stat upgrade, which can range from a percent increase on weapon damage to greater carrying capacity.

Below you will find these manuals' respective locations and a detailed description of the path to reach the book's destination.

Where to Find All Va'ruun Scripture Skill Books

As with all skills books in Starfield, the Va'ruun Scripture skill books' locations vary in nature. Some have a fixed location while others can pop up at the randomly generated abandoned places.

Va'ruun Scripture 01

• Location: UC Security Office - Jemison, New Atlantis (Alpha Centuari System)
• Related Quest: None

Enter the UC Security Office near the spaceport. Go to the very far end of the building, until you reach the cells. In the unlocked cell located to the very far end left, the magazine is lying on the floor under the bed.

Va'ruun Scripture 02

• Location: Starstation UCN-48 (Any planet)
• Related Quest: None

Once you enter the abandoned station, go up the stairs until you reach the wide open area. Go to the second floor, and stick to the right side. Enter the room on the corner where it looks like some sleeping quarters and reach the end of the hallway until you hit the wall. Turn to your right and the magazine will be lying on the floor under the bed.

Va'ruun Scripture 03

• Location: The Stretch in Ruined Square Structure - Akila City, Akila (Cheyenne System)
• Related Quest: None

About halfway through "The Stretch" and below "The Rock Employee Residence" sign is an open square structure with a stone snake statue inside on a table. The Va'ruun Scripture 03 is in the back right of the room next to a yellow barrel, set upside down in a lone drawer.

Va'ruun Scripture 04

• Location: Eren's Camp - Hyla II
• Related Quest: Andreja Companion Quest

Available during Andreja's companion quest. The magazine will be on a table near a weapons' case across a military crate that has a Star Roamer Spacesuit inside.

Va'ruun Scripture 05

• Location: The Clinic (Narion System)
• Related Quest: "Surgical Strike"

Found during one of the Freestar Ranger Missions called "Surgical Strike". You will have to gain entry to the VIP Wing first. Once inside, enter the room just before reaching the bathroom to your right. The magazine will be lying on a table on the right hand side of the sofa.

Va'ruun Scripture 06

• Location: Va'ruun Embassy - UC Mast, New Atlantis, Jemison (Alpha Centauri System)
• Related Quest: "Friends Like These"

You will have to proceed through with the UC Vanguard Faction questline. During one point in your mission, (the quest "Friends Like These") you will be given the key to enter the old Va'ruun Embassy which is only accessible with such key and through a door in between the embassy and Gelbank. Once you reach the end of the mini sidequest in the building, enter the man's bedroom and the magazine will be located near under his bed.

Va'ruun Scripture 07

• Location: Ka'Zaal Sulfur Mine - Ka' Zaal (Nirah System)
• Related Quest: None

Reach the building that is highest/at peak from the rest. Jump to the very top of the structure to reach the highest compound building. Enter the room that is right from the 'Marshmallow Treats' Vending Machine. The magazine will be on a tall shelf right of the room entrance.

Va'ruun Scripture 08

• Location: Abandoned Hangar (Any Planet)
• Related Quest: None

Reach the surface by taking the elevator from the hangar. Once you reach it, locate a building painted mostly in red with a graffiti the Crimson Fleet symbol near the opening of the building. Inside the building, enter the office to your right. The magazine will be sitting on the desk beside the computer.

Va'ruun Scripture 09

• Location: Abandoned Industrial Compound (Any Planet)
• Related Quest: "Kill the Outlaw Captain"

This magazine can spawn when visiting an abandoned industrial compound during faction missions such as "Kill the Outlaw Captain" from Freestar Ranger Faction. Once you get rid of the lurking space pirates, enter a sleeping quarters' room and open the middle locker space to find the magazine lying inside.

Va'ruun Scripture 10

• Location: Deep Mines, Mars (Sol System)
• Related Quest: "Delivering Devils"

Found during the UC Vanguard Mission, Delivering Devils. Halfway through the mines in a large area with crew quarter habitats, the book is located on the second floor on a table near a Research Lab.
